About me and who I am
My Name is Corrie Teufel.
I'm an automotive photographer with a simple obsession: every car has a story, and I want to find it. Whether it's the scars on a rally-built rust bucket or the flawless curves of a fresh build, I try to capture not just what a car looks like, but what it feels like to stand next to it.
I'm also a lifelong learner, always chasing new techniques, new gear, new ways of seeing something I've photographed a hundred times before.
Why I do this
Cars are more than machines to me; they're memories, obsessions, and hours of hard work made visible. I shoot because I want to freeze that feeling before it fades.
How I work
No rushing, no forcing it. I'd rather wait twenty minutes for the right light than get an average shot in five. Every car gets treated like it's the only one I'm shooting that day.
Fun Facts about me
- Give me a back road and a full tank, and I'm happy; rural travel and driving are where I recharge.
- Japan is at the top of my list. Its car culture is something I'd love to shoot in person one day.
Can't wait to meet you
